About the Role

As a Senior Audit Associate, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality audit and assurance services that strengthen stakeholder confidence and support informed business decisions. You’ll work directly with clients across diverse industries, leading field engagements, mentoring junior auditors, and ensuring compliance with local and international standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead audit engagements from planning through completion in accordance with IFRS and local regulations.
- Supervise and review the work of audit teams, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to firm methodology.
- Analyze financial statements and identify key risk areas, providing recommendations for improvement.
- Communicate audit findings and insights clearly to clients and management.
- Ensure compliance with ethical and professional standards at all times.
- Participate in business development activities, including proposal preparation and client meetings.
- Mentor and coach junior associates, contributing to their technical and professional development.
- Coordinate with tax, advisory, and other service teams to deliver integrated solutions.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in external audit (preferably with a mid-tier or Big Four firm).
- Professional certification or progress toward one (e.g., CPA, ACCA, or ESAA) is strongly preferred.
- Solid understanding of IFRS, ISA, and local accounting frameworks.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and professional skepticism.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and audit software (e.g., CaseWare, Excel).
- Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus).
